50 years of the Carl Gustav Carus-Institut

On 13th May 2017, the Carl Gustav Carus-Institut celebrated its 50th anniversary in a ceremony attended by over 200 guests, including representatives from public life, scientific cooperation partners, physicians, members and friends of the Institute and its supporting association, the Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Krebstherapie e.V.

The celebration included our 50 years of research on mistletoe as a medicinal plant, on the production of a medicinal product for cancer and the experiences with mistletoe in cancer therapy. The celebration with plenary lectures, exhibitions and experimental demonstrations was also an introduction into the Institute's development.

This retrospective gave us strength for the future!
